Reverse Engineering /Digitizing Project.
A client came to us with a 45-year-old PCB they needed reproduced — all they had was a faulty board, partial schematics, and a few photos of the original equipment. Two of the capacitors had been obsolete for decades and needed modern equivalents specified. We disassembled the board and scanned each copper layer. The middle image shows raw scan data before our in-house filtering process. Cross-referencing multiple scans gave us clean trace data, which we converted into Gerber 274-X output with silk, soldermask, and drill files ready for any modern board house.
